Kyra's Surgery

Kyra went into surgery today for her left eye.  We were supposed to be at the surgery center at 6am, but had slept through our alarm and didn't wake up till 6:30.  I've been so deprived of sleep since I had Cody, but even more so this past week.  Getting ready for Noah to go back to school and starting up cub scouts again, has really put me even more behind on sleep than I already was.  Her surgery wasn't until 7:45, so off my husband went in a frantic!  We had some time to spare:)  The nurse had called to make sure we were going to be there.  I'm glad we made it in time for the surgery and was able to still get the procedure done.  Kyra and my husband got home around 9:20am and she has been sleeping ever since.  She hasn't ate a thing since 11:30 last night, I'm sure her cute, little body is starving!  The doctor says that everything went well and that we should see results no later than 2 weeks.  I hope and pray that all works out well!  It is always alittle scary for your own child to go under anesthesia.  Brandon gave here a priesthood blessing last night.  What a sweet blessing!  In it it said that she would be comforted and that things would go well.  I am really grateful for the priesthood in my life!!  What a huge blessing this has been for me and my family!  I love my husband and that he is so worthily holds the priesthood!  Kyra's eye is swollen and super blood shot:(  Poor Girl!  The doctor says that her eye will only feel dry and that there shouldn't be any pain.  I can't wait for these next two weeks to fly by, and I can't wait to see the results!
"Hasta la vista to her patch" Yeah!!!
