We just got back from our camping trip up on the rim. All in all we had a great time, it was just the stupid wind. The wind wouldn't stop blowing. This resulted in having a mangled up canopy and us being beyond dirty. The wind blew it over and bent the the poles....Darn it:( It's one thing just camping and not getting to shower, but with the wind blowing the dirt around, man we were really quite filthy!

Kyra had fun picking the flowers the whole time we were there. Every time she would see a patch of flowers, she couldn't resist but to pick them.
The first time I saw her picking them, she had these little small purple flowers that she would place in her hair. I guess she is use to me putting her pretty flowers in her hair each day, and that is where she got the idea to put these little purple flowers in her hair.

We also took the kids to Woods Canyon Lake to do some fishing. Even though we didn't catch any fish, the kids still had fun.
Fun! I love camping and am right there with you about the wind! Why can't it just stop already! Kyra is so cute, I love that she was putting the flowers in her hair. I think its so neat how much Hayden and Noah have in common too, Hayden loves shooting w/ the bow and arrow, if Noah ever needs a buddy next time you are visiting your mom- send him over!
