We got to enjoy the fireworks twice this year!
I really love watching fireworks, it is one of my most favorite things! Just ask my husband...he probably gets annoyed with me, because throughout the entire fireworks show I probably say "babe, did you see that one? I like that one!", about 50 or more times.
Since the 4th fell on a Sunday, some cities were celebrating it on Saturday and some weren't. Ahwatukee celebrated the 4th on Saturday. Some friends of ours were going and invited us to join them. It was fun! I knew Kyra didn't remember the fireworks from the previous year, so I was kind of excited to see how she would do this year. She stared in ahhh up at the fireworks for a good 10 minutes, not taking her eyes off of them while holding onto my neck tightly. She was so cute!

Ryan my nephew came to visit for the summer. Noah and Ryan got fireworks painted on their hands.
We also went to Payson on Sunday after church to their celebration. It's a tradition in Brandon's family to go up to Payson for the 4th. Payson has an awesome fireworks show, so I don't mind at all. They spent $20,000.00 on fireworks this year. Crazy!! The Payson celebration was way better than Ahwatukee's celebration.

We also bought this really neat light up binky that Kyra loved once it was dark.
We didn't get back from the fireworks until late both nights, so come Monday morning, the kids and I were very exhausted! We slept in till 9. I can't remember the last time I slept that late, and Kyra has never slept past 8.
